"Never did a great man hate good wine."
Today I would like to dedicate my post for types of wine. A good wine not only has a perfect taste, but also often becomes a main component of many dishes prepared in posh restaurants. However, there are so many types offered on the market these days how to choose a perfect bottle? perfect for your taste?
First of all, in order to choose the one that is perfect for your taste you have to focus on main characteristics: Sweetness, Acidity, Tannin, Fruit and Body. Do not worry if previously you haven't tried wine, perhaps you fell in love with it only after traveling to France or Italy if so, experiment. Seriously, maybe you will spend some money at first, but trying different wines whether it is white or red will develop your personal view on what suits you the best and what would you be proud to serve on the table.
What about the glass? Don't worry it is not that complicated, but yes, you have to think not only about the bottle, but also about glasses. Perfect glass not only holds the taste, but also keep its quality. Remember, glass has to remain quite open, wide. Wine has the best quality when it gets air and a wide glass will make it happen. As for high glasses, you can only take them for sparkling types of wine as it helps sparkles to hold and there is less air.
As we go further there is one important thing you need to know. Wine changes its taste due to the food you drink it with. Also as I mentioned before wine can be used in dishes as an ingredient. So how to know which bottle for which ingredients? I won't write here about this, because there are so many ingredients on the market, so everyone has to do their personal research, but as I did my research I found some great tips on the website www.winefolly.com and I really suggest for everybody to take a look on it.
Stay tuned, as there will be some upcoming posts about wine types from specific regions and also champagne. That is it for now!
